Did you run PDManager and verify your driver compatibility and delete drivers that did not belong? I am not running win2000. we are on Nt4. is this a correct response from this util? -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. On the Windows 2000 server disk there is a utility called FIXPRNSRV that will check to see that the drivers for your system are the correct compatible ones. It is also downloadable from thethin.net at http://thethin.net/fixprnsrv.zip You must extract this file using the exact directory struction and run it. This utility can be used on NT 4.0 and 2000 servers. Then have a look at all the printing tips at: http://thethin.net/tsdownload.cfm#print I guarantee that you have a rogue driver out there someplace that is causing your issues. You must be certain that you have Mappings for every possible printer you have in the Citrix management console. If you don't know a mapping for an HP laserjet just map it to the Laserjet 4 which usually works. A deskjet can be mapped to the 660. Always try to use windows native drivers where possible. Set up an allowed only list in the CMC of printers under the printer mappings. One thing that happens is this. If you open the Printers folder, the CPU jumps to 100% and the server basically locks up. No errors or anything in the event vwr. Also the servers just stop responding. Randomly we loose the ability to connect to them. They are all getting really slow. Its real flaky. I can't find anything wrong with them that just jumps out at me and there are no errors. Any got any ideas on this one? -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. Dallas, Tx ph. (972) 960.6400 f.
