Can you supply more information? In particular: 1. Are these client printers (connected to the LPT ports on PC)? 2. What driver is used on the citrix server (native or UPD)? 3. What version of the driver is installed on the server (version 2 or 3)? Now (intermittently) local client printers will garble 600 dpi print jobs. The job will be fine for half the page then go to random ascii characters. If the user changes to 300 dpi works every time. Sometimes 600 dpi works, sometimes garbled. I am thinking that more complicated print jobs are where the jobs get garbled but I can't confirm that. The print job (when the problem occurs) gets half way down the page and then goes to random ascii characters. The part that prints correctly (including graphics) prints fine. Windows 2000 and 2003 servers. Multiple workstations from Win 98 to XP. Printers involved are the LJ 1100 family and the LJ 5 family. We had no problem of this type prior to the PS upgrade. Any ideas? The intermittent nature of the garbled print makes it particularly annoying. ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin ************************************************ -- The information in this email belongs to the Pembroke Regional Hospital and may contain confidential and privileged information for the sole use of the individual or organization to which it is addressed.
