So why not copy an updated mf20.dsn file? The WSID= is not required for FR3
and up.

I wrote a quick batch file to update the DSN's for my farm when I migrated
to an SQL data store. I still use it occassionaly to verify correct setup.

It's kept on an admin-only share with other admin-only things so I'm not too
worried about the embedded password.

dsmaint config /user:mssql-user /pwd:mssql-pass /dsn:"m:\program

net start "independent management architecture"
pause

Of course you need to replace MSSQL-SERVER, mssql-pass, and mssql-user with
the correct information.

Good luck.

Mf20.dsn is a file DSN located in c:\Program <file:///\\Program>
Files\Citrix\Independent Management Architecture

Thanks

delete thew odbc connection and create a new one on that citrix server ,
having stopped IMA first

delete the mf20.dsn

reboot and restart IMA

should fix it

Your connection to the Datastore appears to be gone.

Justin,

I would log on to the server's console and verify that it can see an MS
licensing server. Copy the resource kit tool lsview to the server and run
it. Make sure that it returns a server(s), and then verify that the
server(s) it returns does have valid licenses. Also, make sure your
licenses and your terminal server configuration are the same. In other
words, if your licenses are per user, make sure terminal services is
configured as per user; if your licenses are per device, make sure terminal
services are configured for per device.

Cole.
