But, isn't this article saying they don't support QCHAIN or the functions of
QCHAIN that were added to the newer update.exe versions?

ok, makes sense to me... look at what these operating systems are expected
to do these days!
alot of people slag MS off, but, by jove Win2k is some OS! seriously!  some
of the things I have been doing to it lately and it stands up to it... so I
don't mind a quick reboot..
