Hi Jan,
There is a brilliant PowerPoint preso available on the web called "Advanced Web
Interface Customizations" by Sam Jacobs. It's based on customizing WI 5.3. You
can view and download it from here:

Not sure it's going to give you what you want, but it'll go through a lot of
things that may guide you to your answer.

That's not it. The page has a bunch of includes for more pages that dynamically
generate content.
