[THIN] Web Interface 4.5 Customization

Has anyone truly customized their 4.5 Web Interface? The files associated
are not the same as 4.0 and I have tried several sites that stated ways to
do this but they did not work.
I would like to get rid of the Header Icon as well as change the look of the
page.
I have been to Brian Madden, Jason Congers and Thomas Koetzing's sites with
no success.
