Yes, that is right, here is the formal blurb from Citrix:

Web Interface Requirments

. Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Version 5.0 or later.

. Visual J# .NET Version 1.1 or later. Autorun installs this product
automatically; you can also install it manually from the Support\Jsharp11
folder of the MetaFrame Presentation Server CD-ROM or image.

. .NET Framework Version 1.1 or later. Autorun installs this product
automatically; you can also install it manually from the Support\dotNet11
folder of the MetaFrame Presentation Server CD-ROM or image.

. ASP.NET (a Windows component). Autorun does not install Windows
components. Therefore, you may have to install ASP.NET manually. For more
information, see the Web Interface Administrator's Guide

:)

I'm pretty sure the only requirements for WI 3.0 is '.Net 1.1 framework'
as well as the 'J# distributable'. On install the WI will not even start if
you don't have these installed to the system already.

I would check again, WI 3.0 does not require the MS JVM.

Yes, it does. When you install up to Windows 2000 SP3 the MS JVM is included
and then can be updated via Windows Update. When you start with a full
SP4
install, the JVM has been removed from the install package due to the law
suit with SUN.

MS may have subsequently made it available for download, but as of a few
months (when we stopped installing 2000 for clients) you had to search the
Internet to find an older version of the MS JVM, install it and then update
it with Windows Update....

Subject: [THIN] Web Interface 3.0 and MS VM requirement

Hello all,

Does Web Interface 3.0 still depend on Microsoft Virtual Machine?

I can't seem to install VM on a pre-built Windows 2000 SP4 server.

Thanks,
