I'm getting event log messages on my terminal server (w2k, sp2 (rolled = back from sp3 due to printing issues), Citrix XP) warning that client = license(s) will soon expire. It was an informational event, and I've been busy = until today mopping up the Error events, so I just noticed them: "Terminal Services Warning : Your terminal services temporary client = license will expire in 9 days. Please contact your system administrator to get a permanent license" I've checked our License server (W2k,Sp3), and it shows a status of Activated, for my license server, and has three entries that say = "Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access Licenses" with various licenses attached, all of which show issued. =20 There is also line for "Temporary Licenses for Windows 2000 Terminal Services", that shows several licenses issued. The puzzling parts: =20 Only three out of all of the licenses (18 total), show an expiration date. =20 A few machines show up as having been issued multiple licenses. A lot of the licenses show issue dates in June/July of this year, I thought=20 they expired/reissued every 90 days or so. Several licenses are issued to "Unknown". The number issued to Unknown roughly corresponds to the number of WinTerms I have, so I think these are OK, although, they are all issued back in June/July with no expiration How can I free up those duplicate licenses? Is there an easy way to = "reset" the licenses and have them all reissued? Thanks in advance for any help, > =A4=BA=B0`=B0=BA=A4=F8,=B8=B8,=F8=A4=BA=B0`=B0=BA=A4=F8=A4=BA Mike Witt Arkansas Hospice (501) 257-3405 Mike.Witt@xxxxxxxxxx > =A4=BA=B0`=B0=BA=A4=F8,=B8=B8,=F8=A4=BA=B0`=B0=BA=A4=F8=A4=BA >=20 Confidentiality Statement: This message from Arkansas Hospice contains information for use by the intended recipient only.
