we enabled "LogoffCheckerStartupDelayInSeconds" and set to 10 seconds.
That seems to have improved things somewhat, apps certainly now not
logging off

I think you'll find that it's related to the logon process, where if the
timing is wrong and the app doesn't start up quick enough, the system
may log the session off. There are two registry keys that you can try.
IntervalsForLogoffCheck or LogoffCheckerStartupDelayInSeconds. Below is
an excerpt from my adm template. LogoffCheckerStartupDelayInSeconds is a
common requirement in XenApp 6 environments.

        We launch core desktop first (w2008) with pnagent publishing
apps to tier 2 (appv w2003 apps) 


        Where do u think the licensing issue would be? TS, ctx? Ms
licensing key??

                we are having only SOME users (not all) log into Windows
2003R2 SP2, XenApp 5.0 (and R06) with a seamless app - and immediately
getting logged off (regardless of app)

                they can launch it 4-5 times without success, then 6th
time, boom they are in and using .... wait for it ... notepad! ( 

                We have 

                *       duplicated a user with the problem, removed that
user from ALL groups except ctx desktop ones - FAIL 
                *       disabled all printing services, - FAIL 
                *       disabled appsense services - FAIL 
                *       disable all citrix edgesight services 
                *       removed the mandatory profile path - FAIL 
                *       tried roaming profile - FAIL 
                *       disable all APP-V serices - FAIL 
                *       find little in the userdebug.log other than -
                *       removed weird DLL's launching in the APPINT
