how reliable has it been? Do you have trouble with it going down much? or
dropping the tunnel?

Subject: [THIN] Re: VPN Sizing

We've had an office connect via VPN using a standard business 512/256 (d/u)
line. Admittedly, there were only 8 users max, but there were two printers and
a server also on their side. I never really looked into it properly, but the
VPN/ADSL unit was always displaying <= 25% usage on its LED's

One thing to be careful of is the ISP you choose - we chose a well known one we
also use for a general line, and had no end of trouble with it, with them
blaming the telco. Admittedly it did settle down after a month or two, but
thats a long time to wait! Look into their support/service status pages before
you sign up!

I know some of you are connecting your remote offices with VPN. I am trying to
get an feel for how much DSL bandwidth I need to do this. Each of these
connections will be for less than 15 users. They all have thin clients and
most have local printers. One location has one network printer.
