Hi group, I had my printer environment nicely working up until about 2 weeks ago when I started receiving helpdesk calls from users the were unable to print to their client printers. The applications will say "No printers installed. Use Control Panel...". PRINTCFG shows all the client printers in "Disconnected" state. Attempts to connect them hangs PRINTCFG. The session remains responsive. No errors in event Log whatsoever related to this. This happens for both printers with native drivers on the servers and these that do not have them and use Universal driver. Printers arranged through CMS and imported printserver seem to work fine. No recent changes were done on the servers. Server are not updated with MS patches. Farm is 4 W2K SP4 servers Citrix XP3/SP4 Priner settings in CMC: -Use universal driver only when native driver is not available -Automatically install native drivers UNCHECKED -Autocreate client printers when user logs on CHECKED -Inherit client printers settings for keeping printed documents CHECKED -All client printers Any help is greatly appreciated as we're drowning in the helpdesk calls.....SOS!
