So account lockout policy wasn't configured at all before this morning,
or the number of attempts was changed?

If it only happens to one person, try deleting and recreating the
account and see if that changes anything.

I've just tried what you stated below and found it was more or less
random. The only thing that does not seem to be random is when you logon
to Citrix your domain account is locked out.

1st Test:

Logon to Citrix, before logon script has finished account is locked
(viewing this in lockoutstatus.exe).

While the user is at there desktop I enable there account, and then
outlook opens fine.

No error on logoff but account is locked.

2nd Test:

Logon to Citrix, account is locked. I unlock account.

Open word, excel, (start menu is redirect to another server unc path) no
errors.

Open Internet explorer account is locked out.

3rd Test:

Logon to Citrix, account is locked out and I unlock it.

Open Internet explorer and 5 wrong password attempts are shown in
lockoutstatus.exe.

I open IE a few more times and no more wrong password attempts are
shown.

FYI This morning when I first started encountering this problem I set my
account lockout at 10 tries.

Any ideas?

If you unlock the account, can they open and close Outlook without an
authentication prompt? Will the account remain unlocked until next
login?

??

So the problem is their account locking or being prompted to login to
Outlook?

locked out
        Importance: High

I have a user who logs into Citrix (2 server load balanced XPa,
FR3, SP3, Win2k SP4) and they are able to logon. As soon as they click
on Outlook they are prompted to logon to Outlook.

        1) I have investigated and found this only happens to the user
when they logon to one of the 2 Citrix servers.

        2) As soon as the user logs into Citrix the account is locked
out.

        3) This is not happening to everyone...so far only one person.

        4) I am running lockoutstatus.exe but it really is not giving me
more info.

        5) I tried upping the lockout from 3 to 6 but still the same.

        6) I have checked replication monitor and the domain seems fine.

        7) I restarted the operations master DC.

        8) I have tried recreating profiles with and without terminal
services roaming profiles.

Anyone have any ideas?????? I need this working ASAP and I'm
lost for further ideas...
