Jeff I initially left out detail about OS being Win2k SP4. Is your
recommendation still the same?
Any best practices for installing MDAC besides the usual such as 'change
user /install' mode.

Actually I'm surprised you weren't having problems with the version you have
now. Most definately upgdate MDAC. think about 2.8 as well.
