Hi Hector,

If there's nothing you want to migrate from your 1.8/XP farms that hasn't
already been done, then an uninstall/reinstall is probably almost the tidiest
option short of a rebuild. Since they're still running 1.8, it'd be an older
version of the o.s. as well? A rebuild may be preferable.

Anyway, after the uninstall, make sure you delete anything that's
Citrix-related (dirs, registry, ica listener settings etc) before attempting an
install of PS4.

regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Upgrading to PS 4.0

Hi all , I am building a new farm with PS 4.0 and I'd like to move my old
servers to the new farm.
The old servers currently have MetaFrame 1.8 and MetaFrame XP FR3. Would it be
okay to uninstall 1.8 or XP from those servers and install PS 4.0 and join the
new farm? Or should I rebuild the servers?

Thanks,
