Yeah not that I would tell ya NOT to use Citrix but for what you are
doing it sounds like TS would be just fine.

Why do you need Metaframe if you are giving them full desktops?

Subject: [THIN] Upgrading Citrix MF 1.8

Since I don't do this all the time and not in the field learning all the
wonderful new things, I just would like a reality check.

I am going to be upgrading a Citrix MF 1.8 (WIN2K) Server and would like
to
go
to Win03 and the new MetaFrame. It doesn't do Load Balancing, doesn't
do
anything on the web, just serves people full desktops from a remote
location. I
only have 15 users but would also like to possibly go up to 20 users.

I think would need to purchase: XPs upgrade and 15 users licenses and
then
an
additional 5 licenses to make the total 20.

Now, I can't seem to find on Citrix's web site, anyplace that shows that
information for part numbers and such. Could someone possibly tell me
exactly
what I might need? If you are a reseller, you are more than welcome to
send
me
pricing too OFF LIST.

Thanks...
