Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer]
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called =3D
"DisableMSI"
and set it according to (0 =3D3D default, 1 =3D3D admin only, 2 =3D3D =
=3D
disabled).
I had this problem as well, setting "DisableMSI" value to 0 fixed it.

I am building a new Citrix server from scratch (new farm, existing AD =

=3D3D forest), so far I have installed W2K SP3, Metaframe XP FR2, =

a =3D3D bunch of patches and hotfixes, installed all licences.
I am now installing applications, however when I try to install Office =
=3D
=3D3D 2000 SR-1, using either Add New Programs... or "change user =3D
/install" =3D3D and running n:\setup TRANSFORM=3D3D3Dm:\TERMSRVR.MST I =
get =3D
the message "The =3D3D system administrator has set poilicies to prevent =
=3D
this installation".
I can install other applications, it is just office. I have not applied =
=3D
=3D3D any poilicies or security to the server that I am aware of.
Any ideas?
