I have one user (could be more, but only one has said anything) that has an
odd situation.

If he loads any document (word, excel etc). The document loads just fine
and quite quickly. BUT.. as soon as he clicks the mouse button, or presses
a key on the keyboard, the app hangs for about 20 seconds. During that
time, he can go to other apps, use the Start Menu etc. If you bring up Task
Manager while this is going on, the app shows 'Not Responding'. After this
happens once, then the app/document work fine.

I've looked at basic stuff in PerfMon and TaskMgr and don't see anything
peculiar.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

This is a W2k/MF18 server with 2GB of RAM and Dual CPU's. Looks like plenty
of RAM available and CPU's average below 20% usage. We're using Office
2000, but apparently the problem is NOT limited to Office documents.
