The trouble is, once the drives have been remapped, the server refuses to boot as it can't find M:\...\ctxgina.dll. The only option at this point is to restart. However, it isn't as bad as I feared. Using Sysinternals excellent ERD 2003 boot disk I was able to save all my kix scripts, flex profiles, group policy settings etc to USB drive. I've reinstalled W2K3 and Citrix, restored all the saved stuff and only have apps to do now. It might even take less than a day in total. -----Original Message----- From: Rick Mack [mailto:ulrich.mack@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 May 2005 12:12 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Trouble replicating MPS3 on W2K3 Hi Angus, Sysprep resets a few things, and one of them is (obviously) remapped drives. You can almost put things right with a simple registry hack under HKLM\System\MountedDevices or by re-running driveremap. But since your systems are all the same hardware (blades) why not just take the synchronised disk, stick it into one of the other blades change the IP address and run newsid to change the machine ID and SID. That'd be a lot faster and cleaner. Alternatively it's really easy to script a drive remap in an unattended build so if you're interested I can provide a couple of scripts we use. Even for PS4 ;-) regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems On 5/19/05, Angus Macdonald <Angus.Macdonald@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I'm in the process of setting up our new MPS3 farm, running on 10 Dell > PE1855MC blades. the first server is (or was) setup exactly the way I want > it and ready for replication.
