I'm in the process of setting up our new MPS3 farm, running on 10 Dell PE1855MC blades. the first server is (or was) setup exactly the way I want it and ready for replication. I disabled the IMA service, edited the machine name out of MF20.DSN and ran sysprep. All good so far. I removed one of the mirrored hard drives, installed a blank one and restarted the server. I ran through the mini-setup but just before the end (half way through "Registering Components") the server rebooted and started the mini-setup again. After a few laps of this particular race track I removed the second hard drive again. This time the mini-setup completed properly but after a reboot I am informed that m:\program files\citrix\ctxgina.dll (or something similar) could not be loaded. It appears that my drive letters have reverted from M: to C:, according to the refresh install of W2K3 that I'm currently doing. I thought the combination of sysprep and hardware RAID would maintain my drive letters, particularly since the drive in question hasn't even been out of the source server! The real query is, once I've reinstalled W2K3 will I be able to uninstall MPS3, change my drive letters again and reinstall MPS3? All my apps were installed while the system drive was M: so hopefully once it's M: again they'll still work. Or am I clutching at straws and staring down the barrel of another 2 weeks configuration work to get going again? Once things are back in shape, should I simply disable IMA etc and mirror the drive as-is, without using Sysprep. I've used that method successfully with MF1.8 and XP but I wanted to do it "properly" this time. Gallai'r e-bost yma gynnwys gwybodaeth gyfrinachol a/neu ddeunydd hawlfraint.
