That's a good question. I believe they will be physically on the same network, but logically seperate. Ideally there will be no communication between the two. That's going to be a bit of a bummer if they cannot actually split up the license pack. -- Durf On 1/15/07, Andrew Wood <andrew.wood@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
are the servers going to still be able to communicate with each other? if so you can do that within existing license services. I don't think the license agreement lets you split a 20 into a ten and two 5s. ------------------------------ *From:* thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] *On Behalf Of *Durf *Sent:* 15 January 2007 15:44 *To:* thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx *Subject:* [THIN] Transfer licenses between farms Hi folks; I have a client who is splitting up his company. He currently has one Citrix PS4 server with 20 licenses. He would like to add another Citrix PS4 server, in a new farm, and reallocate 5 of those licenses to that server. Is this going to be a call to customer service to get licenses reissued, or is there a way to accomplish this that doesn't require a human? thanks! -- Durf -- -------------- Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute.
