I already found ORCA. But it is only to open and edit MSI-files.
I want to edit the mst-file as described in "Advanced Concepts ..."
I thought the MSI-file can remain untouched, or am I wrong ?

It's called the ORCA tool. They only way to get it would be the Windows =
Installer SDK. You could also use the MST Viewer that comes with the =
Office XP Resource Kit Tools.
