there will never be a consensus. It has a lot to do with preference and =
what features are important to you and how you will deploy/manage them.

I have had nothing but trouble out of the Wyse units I have. I will =
never buy another one. There are also several people on this list who =
really like Wyse terminals and have never had trouble with them.

I like the Neoware Eon units myself. The ezRemote Manager software is =
powerful and all the units have VNC built in so you can shadow the =
setup. These are basic units though. If you need anything more than =
basic ICA or RDP, you may want to look at something with more power like =
the Netx terminals. NetX uses Altiris for management and it doesn't get =
much better than that. Chippc probably has the best security if that is =
what you need.

Any reputable terminal manufacturer will send you a demo unit to kick =
the tires on. I recommend you take several of the vendors up on it and =
call for support while you are trying it out. the big difference in =
terminals comes down to support and device management.

Subject: [THIN] Thin Clients

Not to bring this subject up again but I was reading through the
archives and I haven't figured out if there was a consensus on which
thin client is the best to get. I was looking at Windows Magazine and
Neoware's ThinStar won the aware for best client. Just wondering if
everyone would agree or should I be looking at something else. =20

As well when we decide on a thin client is there anything on the Citrix
servers I need to do so that the client can connect?

thanks for your help in advance,
