You should also compare the new HP clients that use Altiris to manage them.
I've looked at all the terminals out there but it all boils down to
management. Neoware's management software Outpaces Wyse's, but Wyse offers a
better client. It is a real catch 22. The new HP clients are very nice,
I've said it before Altiris is the best management software on the planet
for all devices! If you are getting XP embedded boxes from any of the
vendors they could be managed by Altiris with their client.

Management is the most important piece of the puzzle.

JK

Subject: [THIN] Thin Client Options

We are a Wyse shop with a large number of 3320/3360s (around 270), and will
be evaluating the Wyse 9450xe terminals shortly. I am also interested in
looking at Neoware as alternative option as I buy additional terminals.

If you are familiar with both Wyse and Neoware, I'd like to hear about your
opinions of each and does Neoware warrant a hard look at possibly switching
over my terminal standards, as well as management software, from my current
Wyse deployment? Thanks!

What's keeping you from getting more from your terminal servers? Did you
know, in most cases, CPU Utilization IS NOT the single biggest
constraint to scaling up?! Get this free white paper to understand the
real constraints & how to overcome them. SAVE MONEY by scaling-up rather
than buying more servers.
