Looks like this would help if, for example, you have applications that
require dynamic allocation of a large memory block (like 64k) from time to
time and after the system is running for a long time starts to fail for
memory allocations.

The flip side is that available memory will be tighter on the system.

Chances are you don't have that problem and I would avoid it unless you have
diagnosed that you are having that problem. Chances are greater that if you
had the problem you wouldn't know that you did. But sometimes these changes
have odd side-effects, so only testing could tell if it will help you.

Subject: [THIN] The "HeapDecommitFreeBlockThreshhold" registry key MS KB
315407

Hi guys,

I came across this KB and was wondering if this setting is beneficial in
Citrix running on Windows server 2000 standard. Article seem fresh (last
review April 28 2005).

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315407

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
