[THIN] Re: That annoying message when you start a full-screen citrix desktop session

You usually get a windowed desktop if you pick a resolution (even one
that matches your local resolution). Pick *full screen* and you should
be good to go.

Doesn't that give me a frame around the screen? ugly.

Why don't you just choose full screen instead of seamless for the
desktop?

Or has it? Answered the question about where it's coming from, I mean.
Even
though the annoying popup stays on top when I alt+tab to another local
window, it appears to be originating at the server end, confirmed by
shadowing myself. That explains why PTFB installed locally couldn't see
it.
I don't fancy running PTFB in all my user sessions so I'll probably have
to
look at coding some sort of dedicated window killer myself.
Such is life.

It happens for us when anyone starts a seamless desktop session from any
flavour of Windows. I've just tried it from my desktop using client ver
910
(you think yours is old??). The window that pops up is called "ICA
Seamless
Host Agent" and now that I've tabbed back to Windows it's still on the
screen, so that's answered the question about whether it's coming form
the
server or the client! I'll try some other clients now. Perhaps I could
even
fire up resource hacker - that'd be a bit hardcore for Tuesday.

Thanks
Angus

Shall I take that as a resounding "NO!" then? ;-)
