But I don't *want* to work in both environments. The project is to replace
the standard Windows desktop with a thin client desktop but retain the
ability to share resources. There won't *be* a fat client windows desktop to
work in. The client machine will boot straight into the thin client desktop.

Best set your window size to 85%, this will allow you to work in both
environments comfortably.
