When it is a resolution issue, it doesn't crash until you exit the
session. That is what lead me to that conclusion. Sorry to bother you

Tnx but the resolution I'm using is larger or at least equal to the
resolution used by our users. And it also only happens when exiting the
shadow session.

Tnx,

Hielke

If you shadow a user who has their screen resolution higher than your
screen resolution, this could cause your server to blue screen. I
always have a session that logs on with a higher resolution ( 1280 X
1024 ) than anybody in our company has theirs set to. That has solved
this problem for us.
Hope this helps

Subject: [THIN] Terminal server crash after shadow

Hi,

Recently we've had some problems with one server crashing after I
shadowed a
user on that server. When I begin shadowing the session everything's
fine,
when I leave the shadow session the server crashed with a BSOD, it does
not
happen every time a user is shadowed. Is this a known problem or do you
have
any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem? The server is a Windows
NT4
Terminal Server with SP6a and MF1.8 SP2 installed.

Tnx,

Hielke
