Hi ! I have a serious problem with a WTS running Windows 2003 Server. I use an Office 2000-SP3, prepared as a usual using a transform (ORK). Probably on Outlook start, I am to see a huge number of connections (+/-2000) to a remote server on port 1026. (On the server side the connections are initiated from transient port, numbered sequentially.) It will last for a while and the same storm will happen over port 2002. It last quite a while (30 minutes) as connections attempts will time-out and new connections will be made. The remote server getting connected to is a Global Catalogue Server. Please note that this is not always the same getting connected to (we are living in a big WAN). There is 3 GC I am aware of. It reaches a point on which the server will not accept new TS connections. And the whole server will behave oddly. At this point, I need to force the server shutdown. The only thing particular I see in my setup is that some of my users profiles "roam" between a Windows 2000 and the Windows 2003 server WTS. Do anybody have seen such behaviour ? Any idea on how to track down the origin for this problem ? Thanks for any input, --Richard. ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online.
