Can he connect with rdp client?
I would look at the client side for this matter. If you haven't
installed the machine put the ball in his corner.
He might try to reinstall the ica client.

I have user trying to connect from a computer directly on the internet.
he
isn't behind a firewall. He is on some kind of wireless internet
connection
though. he is able to telnet on 1494 to my servers and gets the ICA
response. But when he runs the ICA file to connect to our published
desktop
or directly to a server, he gets a read time out error. Any ideas?
