[THIN] Strange Smart Card behavior

I am in the process of deploying smart cards with Win2k3, PS4, and ActivCard
Gold. I have a couple servers working perfect but one is being stubborn.
the problem is with passthough. When I check Smart Card and passthough in
the properties of an ica connection, it just stalls on checking
credentials. The reader doesn't blink or anything. eventually it times out
with a request to press ctrl+alt+end to login. If I uncheck the passthough
box, it prompts for a pin and when the pin is entered, it logs in. Same for
the web interface. the Wi is set to passthrough with smartcard and it
stalls out. The other server is fine. Passes right through.
the ActiveCard software is working fine
I had some other people around me try it and they get the same things. I
feel pretty confident that my client is setup correctly because the other
server works ok. Same for everyone else.
Has anyone run into this before?
