For me, I just had to install Service Pack 1. :)

you two will appreciate a requirement I have to turn sound ON. After
all these years of killing sound completely on my farms, I found myself
with no clue how to actually get it turned on. It's working now but I
really had to sit and think abotu it for a while to get it all working.

Thanks! Looks like exactly the problem.

Article is confusing however .. Is SP2 the only fix, or
is there a
hotfix associated with this KB article? If there is,
there's no download
link so I guess it's not a publically available hotfix?
Anybody have it?

                Hiya,

Others may correct me, but I'm pretty sure this was a
known issue when
                sp1 first came around...

Initially, I recall they produced a hotfix for it, but
now I think its
                been superseded by sp2...

Windows 2003 SP 1, MPS 3.0 Rollup 2, ICA Program
Neighborhood 9.0

Just added a new server to the farm, and users are
saying that when
message boxes from published applications are presented,
a loud beep
occurs. I checked the ICA connection settings and
"Disable client audio
mapping" is checked. I can't find any other setting that
would disable
this beep. I have two other servers I installed quite a
while ago that
don't do this, so way back when I used to be smart
enough to disable
sound, but apparently I'm dumber now. What am I missing?
Thanks!
