I've done a some work with the product... It is vastly over priced and =
under delivers. For one customer the licening meter was a big selling =
point, but that function doesn't work. Same thing with Roaming =
profiles, 3 office apps will cause your profile to grow over 40 megs =
thus defeating the purpose of streaming a caching.

In theory it's a great idea, but it may be short lived. The .NET 2003 =
servers may solve many of the dll compatibilities issues and deployment =
issues.

Subject: [THIN] Softricity experiences

Hi,

Yesterday I visited a Softricity demo with two of my collegues. We were =
=3D
very enthousiastic about what we saw. Has anyone experiences with =3D
Softricity and Citrix and wants to share them?

By the way, I searched the net for some prices and I almost got a =3D
heartattack when I saw that it would take almost 18.000 US Dollar per =
=3D
Terminal Server. I hope I misread the way license-pricing is done !!!

Gabrie
