[THIN] Slow graphics in PPT

I'm finding that some power points and photos are loading a bit slow in
Citrix. I suspect it has to do with the fact they are large images. Is
there anything I can do to make this faster? Would the farm settings of
"Compress JPEG images to improve the bandwidth" help with a large images
in power point?
If I open the power point image on my PC it is very fast. When I open it
within Citrix it starts drawing from the top and slowly works its way
down the screen.
Any suggestions on how to improve speed with images over WAN links in
Citrix would be most helpful.
