There is an option also that is new with the Win2k3 adm's that allow you
to assign TS profiles in the GPO. MS has a hotfix that allows this
setting to be read by Win2k machines also. This would allow you to use
multiple roaming profiles based on server also.

In your group policy under Computer/Administrative
Templates/System/Logon you can set Only Allow Local User Profiles. Best
thing to do would be to put these restricted machines in their own OU
and set the policy at that level.

on server

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could answer if it is possible to prevent a small
group of TS servers (W2k) from using roaming profiles? I would like the
suitation where a user logs into one group a servers they get their TS
roaming profile but when they log into another group they get a local
profile. (or even another TS profile would be nice!).

Does anyone have any ideas if this sort of setup possible? How about on
W2k3?

Thanks,
Tom
