I'm also running netshield 4.5 on this server, have been for quite some
time and today is the first day I've seen these problems.

This is happening to me also, sometimes it seems the virus scan is stuck
on
something (Mcafee 4.5), like it's timming out on a file. I haven't
isolated
it yet. The users who are logged on are still alive, but after 30 min
or so
they start to get disconnected. Then the console freezes, and its time

hit the power switch because it wont accept anymore incoming

Subject: [THIN] Sessions freeze
Randomly, on one server all sessions freeze. There are no errors,
nothing in the event log. Strange thing is that task manager shows
termsrv.exe running, but in the services applet the start/stop and
restart buttons are greyed out. I cannot stop the service from the
command line or kill the process because it says that the process
doesn't exist. Rebooting fixes the problem for a couple of hours.
Any ideas?
