Not to mention, it can be hard to fire a large percentage of your staff
because they are violating AUP/TOS, and it it can often be a 3 strikes
until you are out situation.

They never stop causing trouble. People will claim ignorance even if the
thing was pinned to their back. Most organizations probably would have
difficulty firing them after they got spyware (or whatever) on your
Citrix boxes; and it'll still be more work for you and will be a less
reliable/stable environment for the end users. It's the proactive vs.
reactive thing.

How about just waving the acceptable use policy (you DO have one, don't
you) until they stop causing trouble.

        Hey Guys,

I'm going to soon have several users accessing the Internet on
my servers, and while we do lock down the servers with GPOs and NTFS
permissions, I'm confident that they will manage to circumvent those
measures to some degree and cause issues. Does anyone have any
suggestions for thirdparty apps that might help lock these servers down
to the hilt and / or mitigate malware.

        Thanks,

        -Brian
