Hi all,

I am currently quoting for a second Citrix server to loadbalance along =
side an existing Compaq ML530G1 with 2 x 1Gb Xeon Processors and 2Gb =
Memory.

Currently have a 40 user licence for Citrix and very often hit this 40 =
user limit. Plan is to upgrade from Metaframe Standard to Metaframe =
Advanded to get the load balancing, and purchase a further 10 users.=20

Use on Citrix is mostly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), =
although I am about to introduce an Access front-end, SQL back-end =
application that all Citrix users will be heavily using. Should this =
affect my plans?

The company is growing fairly quickly (for a small company) and can see =
us with 60-70 Citrix users by the end of the year.

I have the following two quotes so far:

Compaq ML380G3, 2 x 2.4Gb Xeon, 2Gb Memory, 2 x 36Gb HD, 532 Raid =
Controller=20
Compaq ML530G2, 2 x 2.4Gb Xeon, 2Gb Memory, 2 x 36Gb HD, 532 Raid =
Controller

My questions are; are these the type of spec's I should be looking at, =
and is there any real benefit to going for the 530 over the 380 =
specially when there is a =A31000 difference in price between the two =
for the same "equipment" level.

Any comments or advice would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks,
