This is a good solution but be aware that the load balancing takes place before they login. As a result, using this method, you will not be re-connected to an existing session unless it happens to hit the same server......... Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N. I put this in a batch file and had it autorun when they logon. The ICA file starts a Citrix desktop fullscreen and logs them in using passthrough authentication. When they close the Citrix session their underlying local session gets logged off automatically. A bit low tech but it worked fine for us. start /wait c:\desktop.ica C:\LOGOFF.EXE /LOGOFF Steve -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Chris Grecsek Sent: 20 April 2005 15:30 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Seamless Login? We're using desktops as "thin clients" but we don't want to do a whole lot of work on the local desktop. I.e. we don't want to rebuild them with Alcatraz or some other "dumb down" solution. On boot up I just want to make a regular Windows 2000 desktop automatically login and initiate the connection to a published desktop. Right now the user logs in, the program neighborhood agents starts, they double click on it to see their published desktop and then they connect. Is there any way to make this a seamless process?
