That is pretty unbelievable, I would personally write to them saying that
you can't use their product and go buy a different drive!

Subject: [THIN] Seagate - Worst RMA quality

Hi list

A few weeks ago I shared my story with you about getting several D.O.A.
drives from Seagates RMA process. Just wanted to share that today I got
ANOTHER DOA drive. That makes six DOA RMA drives from the original drive
purchase, I've complained to seagate yet again and all I'm hearing are
crickets. Does anyone have a contact in Seagate who can actually get me a
working drive? Preferably a non refurb drive since they've sent me 6 DOA
refurb drives.

TIA
