To All:

Is it possible to have a user with a scanner connected to their PC, run a
scanning software within a TS RDP connection, and have the scans go directly
to the server?

I have a client that uses a fat-client setup in regards to scanning
documents. They have a management software running on the PC that
integrates into a scanning software that is installed locally on the PC.
When they want to scan in a document, the management software calls up the
TWAIN (scanning) software, and then it scans in the document, and places the
image into the server via a network drive.

What I want to do is install the TWAIN (scanning) software on the server,
have a scanner physically connected to a PC, and have the management
software running within the TS. If I get the management software to call-up
the scanning software within TS, will the software be able to pull the scans
off a scanner that is physically hooked up to the PC while in TS's?

Does anyone know if there is a problem in getting scans off of the USB /
Parallel port off the PC that is running TS? Do you have to do a tweak, or
is it possible at all?

Sincerely,
