[THIN] Satellite Access

I have a user that is looking into getting Satellite internet access and has 
heard that they might have an issue with citrix and with vpn access.  The user 
was told " that VPNs do not work well with satellite internet (not compatible 
with some of their acceleration software)."
 
Has anyone heard of this?
