We patched our Windows 2000 servers this weekend, on some you'll have to
remove the following 3 values to get it connecting again to your license
server.

HKLM/System/CCS/Services/TermService/Parameters
        - Certificate
        - X509 Certificate
        - X509 Certificate ID

Once you do that, that should take care of that particular issue.

DavidB

Is it even worth it to take my chances? Should this be avoided on
terminal servers that are protected with fw/antivirus for the time
being, until Microsoft issues a fix?

I'm debating this one, because it sounds to have caused quite a bit of
mischief...

Saw it today....at least after reading your post, I realized what had
happened.
Did you find a fix for it?

Well, on 4 boxes in the farm that we patched I can't connect to the TS
license server anymore. Anyone seen anything similar?
