Hi Jan,
Windbg makes a simple dump analysis very easy, and it's downloadable free
from Microsoft. The only challenge in setting it up is if you want a bit
more detail you'll have to get the symbol files for win2k, win2k SP6, and
Metaframe Xp plus FR1. However even without the symbol files, you may get
enough useful information to help yo figure out the problem.
Mark Russinovich (www.sysinternals.com) has a great document on crash dump
analysis and it also describes another tool, kanalyze.

0x00000044 (0x87265008, 0x00000caa, 0x0, 0x0)
Any idea what could cause this crash ?
Anyone has a good and simple reference how to analyse MiniDumps ?
