[THIN] SQL Data Store and Native Authentication

Good morning
I am trying to setup an SQL 2000 Data Store with an SQL server which does
not allow SQL authentication. It is using Active Directory Authentication.
The Citrix admin guide says MetaFrame supports NT Authentication, but when
I try to connect to the server it refuses to authentication. I have checked
the account has access to the database and has db_owner rights.
Has anyone successfully setup a Data Store on an SQL 2000 server running in
Native mode?
