I was always under the impression that the state monitoring should show a
farm view health status based on pre-defined thresholds - and a knowledge
base. There should also be some specific citrix views?

Do you not get any of that?

Subject: [THIN] SCOM2007 + Citrix

I recently added the Citrix SCOM management packs to our SCOM2007 server.

Though from what I can tell, its really just a framework that has exposed
the Citrix services so we THEN can setup alerts for the severs. . . not an
actual precompiled list of useful alerts and rules (which is what I naively
assumed that Management packs were for)

Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the case? We were really only aiming
for something a little more professional than resource manager alerting etc
(funky graphs for management etc)

Cheers
James
