That was it, Spooler was crashing...seems to do that more and more in PS 4.0. Either the spooler or the CTX Print Manager. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Maddox, Cole Sent: Thursday, August 25, 2005 3:15 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: "Running Logon Scripts" Hello Chad, I have found, as have others I have spoken with, that the problem is not the scripts, rather it is the print manager service. After all your logon scripts run, it then tries to connect to the printers. If the printer manager service has crashed and restarted, which it does by default after a crash, it will not respond properly, thus you are stuck at the "running logon scripts" screen. Please check your event logs. You are looking for instances were the spooler service has crashed and restarted. Alternatively, look for event ID 26 - Informational Event - Application Popup with CPSvc.exe in the description. If you find either of these events, try restarting the print spooler and the Citrix Print Manager service. If that fixes the issue, you can try changing the print manager service user account from the smauser to local system account (per Citrix support). Cheers, Cole. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Schneider, Chad M Sent: Thursday, August 25, 2005 10:43 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] "Running Logon Scripts" I have a server that is stuck at Running Logon Scripts.
