Brian is right. There is nothing on Citrix that will make the application, on the server side, run differently from a plain TS. -----Original Message----- From: J H [mailto:jeffrey_hicks@xxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: March 31, 2004 8:53 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Running Applications in Citrix vs Bare TS We have a vendor ( McKesson ) who is telling us they will support their application running in a Citrix environment but will not support it in a bare Win2k3 Terminal Server environment. I know, I know, I should just keep my mouth shut and I'll finally get the Citrix manageability, client flexibility and maybe even the MSAM I dream about but money is tight for this hospital. We serve up full desktops via Win2k3 TS, Session Directory with TS Profiles. At the point of the executable running on the server, does Citrix offer anything over and above Terminal Services? thanks, Jeff University of Colorado Hospital=20 =20 ____________________________________________________________ Find what you are looking for with the Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default .asp?SRC=3Dlycos10 ******************************************************** This weeks sponsor Emergent Online.
