Look at the Oki B4300n. It has 10/100 network built in along with = parallel or USB capability. Prints at 19PPM. It costs $460. The Oki = drivers work fins on a terminal server or you can run it as a HPLJ4Plus. = The toners costs $35 for 2500 pages. As a networked printer, that's a steal to me. I have four of them = deployed as networked printers and about five more locally attached via = parallel cable to thin clients. http://www.compudirect.net/oki/led.htm Greg -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jeff Durbin Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 2004 8:33 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Running Applications in Citrix vs Bare TS The customer in question has a few locations where they have low volume printing, but need it to not rely on a PC being turned on for it to = print, so we're looking for something cheap. The lowest end networked Laserjet = here is the 1300N, but it's $1750, which would be cost prohibitive for this customer. The Laserjet 1010 won't work because it's a GDI printer, but = the 1015 appears to support PCL5e for not much more money.
