At that time we were using Adobe Reader 5.0. I did not see a specific document on the install of MDAC for TS. All of our TS boxes are now 2003 and MFPS3.0 so needless to say we are no longer playing with the MDAC issue (for now:-)) Bob Barrett FVSD#52 ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Droz Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 7:55 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Rolling back MDAC version There are specific instructions in how to install MDAC on a TS server, did you use that document to install it? If so, there must be another factor causing the issue. Just curious, what version of Adobe Acrobat are you using? -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Robert Barrett Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 9:36 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Rolling back MDAC version MDAC 2.8 when installed on our W2K SP4 computers caused issues with several applications (Adobe, Office XP, a third party grading tool), I could not wait to get it off the server. , Bob Barrett FVSD#52 ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Droz Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 6:37 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Rolling back MDAC version Are you getting a particular error with your MDAC? There should be no reason why you would have to use a lower version. I have an ERP application that I thought was MDAC version specific but turned out that it wasnt after some testing and setup issues. I have spent hours on this and try to fix weird errors related to MDAC. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Turman, David C.
