[THIN] Roaming profile issues

we are implementing a published desktop for a group of users and using roaming
profiles for them. this is all running on w2k3 servers and citrix xp fr3/sp4.
For some reason, very randomly, users will log in and get an error stating that
there profile cannot be found on the network and a temp profile will be
created. Has anyone seen this before?
